Strength
The strength of the constellation work is not within a method or technique. The power lies in the ability to purely perceive the voice of the own soul and to trust her authority. This listening and trust also protects against the temptation of a false authority. To see what is, as opposed to blindly believing what is said, is an important principle in this and other work.

- Humility rather than ambition
- Not every facilitator is suitable for every question and every client, and not every constellation leads to the desired result. The facilitator will timely admit, if he is cannot do something, or if he does not know how to proceed, and he will then do everything to refer the questioner on to someone whom he expects to be able to continue.
- Sobriety rather than enthusiasm
- In a constellation impressive sensations and interesting ideas can come up and seduce one to get carried away by them. The facilitator will soberly look through appearances and search for the essence of the moment, by remaining in the center within, ‘the empty core’, where the ‘still small voice’ remains audible.
- Sensitivity rather than formalism
- To impose a solution, how correct as it may appear, onto anyone, does not help, it can even harm. The facilitator will carefully observe and distinguish whether the questioner can carry out a proposed action with inner confidence and trust, and not just follows it to the eye.
By now many offer constellations or set-ups, and one can, even already in short courses obtain certificates. However, can certificates guarantee human qualities, such as empathy, seriousness, inner attitude, sobriety, maturity, purity or care?
Finally and perhaps needless to say, constellation work is not a new „gospel” or panacea. It is just one tool alongside other tools in the toolbox of the therapist.
