Before The Set-Up
Although the method of set-up is also used therapeutically and can work therapeutically, set-up mainly serves self-examination. Therefore, it never should replace examination, diagnosis and treatment of a physician or psychiatrist. Participation in an arrangement always happens at your own responsibility and risk.
The participant can provide in every way for her- or himself. If not, this should be announced timely in advance, to be able to carefully consider participation. Use of drugs and therapies likewise are to be reported in advance. Upon prior agreement, a participant may of course bring his doctor or therapist along.
Substance use excludes from participation.
After The Set-Up
Only very rarely a participant who represented in an arrangement for another suffers afterwards from occurring impressions and emotions. If this occurs, it is to be report directly, preferably immediately after the set-up; otherwise, as soon as possible after becoming aware of it. Experience shows, though it rarely occurs, that it should be taken serious. See for example:
