On an ordinary working day in spring 2000 I spent my lunch time once again on the ‘Appelsche Heath’. Whenever possible, I went there, to walk and relaxed, to think and to meditate.
There I had completely unexpected at midday a vision. The vision started with an unearthly beautiful virginal womb, that is to say a virginal body from toe to navel. It seemed even more beautiful than Sandro Botticelli (1445 - 1510) was able to paint. And still finer than the so-called ‘Venus de ‘Medici’, which an unknown artist knew how to wrestle from marble even 1500 years earlier. The feeling that I had at the sight of this image was far from coveting, leave alone craving, it seemed more like admiration, respect and awe.
Then in front of me stood a very tall woman, resembling a Minoan Goddess. Yet without snakes in her hands and without a cat on her head, but again another 1500 years older than the ‘Venus de’ Medici’. Even though I was a grown man, I reached but up to her knees. Her earthy coloured skirt reached from her waist down to the ground, but her arms and torso were bare. She looked from left above me down on me, bent down, took me into her arms and laid me to her breasts. What I drank was crystal clear like water, but felt thick, rich and full, possibly like hindmilk. Then she put me down on the ground again and looked down at me and I looked up at her, her appearance and serious face. I recall no particular feelings of this moment; at least not the kind of romantic feelings that some seem to connect with suckling, mother and breastfeeding. It happened as a natural phenomenon unfolding before my eyes.
Finally, there stood, a little away from me, between the branches of the pine reaching to the ground, an 'Old', dressed in what appeared a wide, earthen coloured monks robe with a hood. She looked at me curious, inquisitive and expectant, as if she wanted to see what I would now do next. Also with this image I recall no particular feelings, than maybe except my own awakening curiosity. The vision faded and what seems reality reappeared as if out of the fog.
So far the threefold vision.
