2.2.1 Physical Arrangements

Probably more than type (aleph), this type (beth) uses rented facilities for their meetings. Accordingly, they moderately equip the meeting rooms with physical arrangements. Central is also here the lectern, where the preacher can place his Bible and scripts for his sermon.

Seats for visitors must at times be brought in from another room and arranged for the meeting. The singing of typically charismatic worship songs, with hands often lifted up, is a common expression. For this, overhead projectors free the hands and invite the worshippers to look up, instead of down into a songbook. If a group meets in a room that a church puts to its disposition, it will not change the interior. If spiritual round dance is an accepted expression of worship during singing, sufficient place must be reserved for it.
